The importance of PR launch events should never be overlooked, even in the fast-moving digital age we now all live in.

Having recently undertaken a successful web site launch event in central London, many PR’s could question whether journalists actually have the time or inclination to leave their desks for such events, but our event is testament to their value.

More than 20 consumer journalists attended our event which was held at One Aldwych, where they were treated to a private viewing in the hotel’s own screening room, followed by one-to-one interviews and a buffet lunch.

The coverage is beginning to roll in and we have given ourselves a well deserved pat on the back for such great attendance.

So there you have it. If you thought that launch events are a thing of the PR past, think again.
